Policeman films 12-year-old dancing to Billie Jean without knowing that he's about to change his life
It is always a pleasure to discover the hidden talent of another person. A police officer on duty spotted a 12-year-old boy dancing on the street imitating Michael Jackson. He decided to film it without suspecting that his video would become viral and change this young boy's life forever.
Officer Kawain Harrison was on call in Greenville, North Carolina, when he witnessed an impressive scene. On the street, stood a little boy wearing a white jacket and a white glove. He was dancing to Michael Jackson's Billie Jean.
This little boy is called Javon Dendy. In the video below, he starts off by saying: "Hello, my name is Javon. I'm 12 years old and I like Michael Jackson. "
Impressed by the boy's talent, Officer Harrison wanted to do more than just share his video on social media. Javon was a nice, humble kid and the policeman wanted to show him just how much he admired him. So he and his wife decided to give him a very special gift.
As Javon unwrapped his gift, he can't believe his eyes. They gave him a full Michael Jackson costume.
This beautiful story doesn't end here because among the millions of people who saw his video, there was a member from the Southern Elite Dance Academy in Spartanburg.
The prestigious dance establishment was impressed by Javon and offered him a scholarship. This dance prodigy would be able to further his talent and follow his true passion.
