Homeless man “finds” two bags with 300,000 euros at Paris airport
Last Friday, at the airport Charles de Gaulle in Paris, a man quickly run away after he found two bags containing 300,000 euros, according to Le Parisien.
At the end of the afternoon, the alarm went off at the money transport company Loomis. It turned out that a door was opened from a room where a lot of cash was stored. Unfortunately, they were not on time to prevent the theft.
On the surveillance images, the police saw that a man was about fifty years old, and he was searching some garbage cans in the neighborhood of the Loomis office. To his great surprise, a door opened when he leaned against it. Once inside he took two bags with 300,000 euros and quickly ran outside again. Then he went into the crowd, started to walk and every trace of him is missing.
The police recognized the man from the images as a homeless person who regularly slept at the airport. He left a suitcase behind, but there was nothing in it that could identify him.
The temptation of an early Christmas gift was clearly too big. Can they ever find him? Let us know what you think in the comments!
